How you can make a difference
All Queenslanders can play a role in managing the impacts of climate change by making small but significant changes to lifestyle, water-saving practices and energy usage. The websites of some of Queensland's leading agencies have information and resources on how you can make a difference and manage the impact of climate change:
ClimateSmart living
- The Environmental Protection Agency’s ClimateSmart living campaign has a range of information for:
- Households— information on improving energy efficiency in the home, making smarter transport choices, building a sustainable house, and recycling water and waste.
- Business and industry—information on new business opportunities, low emission electricity generation technology, and renewable energy.
Becoming more aware
You can also make a difference by keeping yourself informed about global, national, and state efforts to manage and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
