Queensland's response
The Queensland Government is committed to remaining at the forefront of Australia's response to climate change. It is implementing actions that reduce emissions so that the state can play its part in meeting a national reduction target of 60 per cent below 2000 levels by 2050, and to prepare our industries and communities for the impacts of climate change in Queensland. These include:
