Queensland's response
The Queensland Government is serious about responding to climate change. It has committed to playing its part in meeting the national target of 60 per cent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions below 2000 levels by 2050.
To maintain our lifestyle and ensure our social, economic and environmental wellbeing, the Queensland Government is leading and implementing strategies to manage the impacts of climate change in the state.
